Torres Consulting Expands Government Relations Team

TEMPE, Ariz. (Aug. 1, 2017) – Torres Consulting & Law Group (TCLG) continues to grow, welcoming two new additions to the government relations team.

“We are looking forward to the expansion of our government relations services by bringing on two very talented new staff members,” says TCLG Managing Partner Israel Torres. “They will provide critical support in our efforts advocating on behalf of working families, decent wages and job growth.”

Stephanie Bockrath joins TCLG to take on the role of Government Relations Specialist. She will be focusing her talents on city issues, private developments and public relations for the firms’ clients.

Bockrath graduated from Arizona State University in May, where she studied Political Science and Women & Gender Studies. Before joining TCLG, she interned at the local nonprofit, Phoenix Sister Cities, and at the Arizona State Senate where she analyzed policies on the Commerce, Finance and Appropriations committees.

Christian Bearden is also joining the firm as a Government Relations Specialist. He will be specializing in federal, state and school board issues for TCLG clients.

Bearden comes to TCLG with previous experience as a policy intern at the Arizona House of Representatives, and the Project Coordinator for the Upper Rio Yaqui Basin where he worked to protect endangered species. He is a graduate of the James E. Rodgers College of Law, and Arizona State University.

Torres Consulting and Law Group provides a variety of consulting services, including regulatory compliance and public and government relations, to clients in Arizona and across the United States. Torres Law Group, PLLC litigates a variety of matters and promotes the interests of Arizona’s working families by advising political action committees, including several associated with building trades unions.
