Torres Law Group Welcomes New Associate Attorney

TEMPE, Ariz. (June 21, 2019) – Jacqueline Mendez Soto has joined the legal team at Torres Law Group, PLLC, as associate attorney to provide legal services to the firm’s clients, specifically in the areas of labor and employment law, family law, and estate and probate law.

Jacqueline began her career as a field examiner for the National Labor Relations Board where she investigated unfair labor practices, and that experience sparked her interest in labor and employment law. After receiving her J.D. from Boston College Law School, she was honored to serve as a judicial law clerk at the Arizona Court of Appeals for now Justice Ann A. Scott Timmer of the Arizona Supreme Court. Following her clerkship, she continued working in the labor law and employment field as in-house counsel for U-Haul International, Inc., and as an associate at Snell & Wilmer, LLP.

Jacqueline has also practiced in the family law, juvenile law and probate law fields representing clients in dissolution proceedings, parenting plan and child support issues, private parental severance proceedings, adoptions, and juvenile and dependent adult guardianship proceedings. She also advises clients on estate planning matters, including preparation of wills and trusts.

Not only is Jacqueline dedicated to her clients, but she also gives her time to help Arizona’s most vulnerable children and families. She has served as a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate for the Maricopa County Superior Court where she advocates on behalf of children in the foster care system. She also volunteers at Tempe Community Agency I-HELP Homeless Shelter Program.
