Brandi Devlin, communications director, provides communications support to the government relations and compliance teams, as well as our firm’s clients. She develops and executes strategic communications, marketing and public relations plans, writes and edits content for digital and print channels, plans events, coordinates projects that involve subject-matter experts and vendors, and handles public relations for the firm and its clients.
Brandi started her career as a writer and editor for the American Welding Society’s Welding Journal trade magazine. For 11 years, she managed advertising and marketing for Valor Corporation. Most recently, Brandi has directed strategic communications and public relations initiatives for nonprofits focused on youth development and education including the Children’s Museum of Phoenix, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona, and Child Crisis Arizona. Brandi obtained her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Fla. She also has a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Arizona State University’s Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation.
On a personal note, Brandi is interested in politics, sociology, and history. She enjoys spending time with her husband, her adult sons, and friends, and is an avid reader and podcast-listener.
