TCLG announces first Northeast client Plumbers and Steamfitters UA Local 773

TEMPE, Ariz. – July 23, 2015 –Torres Consulting and Law Group (TCLG) is honored to announce the firm’s first client based in the Northeast — Plumbers and Steamfitters UA Local 773, headquartered in South Glen Falls, N.Y. TCLG will be conducting compliance monitoring services on various state and federal construction projects to ensure workers are fairly paid. “We have a long history helping UA locals catch cheating contractors, and we are proud to have Local 773 as a client,” said TCLG Managing Partner Israel Torres. “Our goal is to help level the playing field on prevailing wage jobs, so honest contractors win more work and workers get paid the correct wage.” TCLG’s compliance services make sure contractors comply with prevailing wage laws. Plumbers and Steamfitters UA Local 773 was chartered on April 12, 1919. Local 773 represents more than 450 union trained Plumbers, Pipefitters, Steam Fitters, Refrigeration Fitters and Service Techs. Local 773’s jurisdiction covers the entire Adirondack Region, which includes the geographical territory of Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, Saratoga, Warren and Washington counties.
