Compliance Specialist
Monesia “Moe” has over 15 years of experience working in procurement and labor compliance, specifically with projects financed through tax credits and federal and state agencies. She works closely with clients to ensure contractors and project owners follow payroll regulations. She monitors certified payrolls for misclassifications and violations of Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, analyzes conformances, interacts with contracting officers at all levels of government, alerts U.S.DOL and state agencies to potential issues with non-compliant contractors.
During her 15 year tenure as a Senior Procurement/Labor Compliance Manager, she acted as the compliance administrator on all projects for the analysis of Davis-Bacon and Related Acts wage labor reporting requirements, monitoring subcontractor document submissions and overall client satisfaction in the completion of all reporting to the appropriate agencies, covering projects in multiple states. She worked closely with HUD, State Agencies and the Department of Labor to ensure all regulations were adhered to, contributing to the overall success of each project. Moe was also responsible for ensuring certified MBE/WBE/Section 3 company goals were met or exceeded for each project.
In her spare time, Moe enjoys spending time with her sister working with rescue organizations, having four cats of her own that she has brought home. She loves golf and gardening in the summer and works on home improvement projects in her spare time.
