Forest Lakes Fire District FLFD Board Chairman Tom Cummiskey welcomes Israel Torres

Managing Partner Israel G. Torres has been appointed to the Forest Lakes Fire District Board of Directors. As a board member, Torres will provide oversight and guidance regarding the district’s operations, strategic initiatives, policies, and finances.

The Forest Lakes Fire District provides emergency medical response and fire response services to the residents of Forest Lakes, a remote community located in Coconino County. They also conduct search and rescue operations, work with residents on fire prevention and protection, and provide additional services to the community.

“I’m looking forward to serving with Chairman Tom Cummiskey, Fire Chief Dave Rodriquez, and the professional EMTs, paramedics and firefighters who serve the Forest Lakes community,” says Torres. “As a resident of Forest Lakes Estates, I’ve been impressed by the staff and volunteers who are committed to keeping community members and visitors safe, and I’m honored to be part of the organization.”

Torres is filling a board position vacated by former member Quentin Tolby. He will serve through November 2020.
