Torres Law Group is fighting to protect public health and the First Amendment rights of Arizona’s voters. On April 2, 2020, our legal team filed a lawsuit on behalf of Arizonans for Fair Elections and Healthcare Rising Arizona seeking a temporary, emergency rule change to the ballot measure signature collection process. This change would allow a one-time expansion of Arizona’s E-Qual system for the verification of signatures in support of ballot initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic. We believe that during this public health emergency Arizonans should be able to have their voice heard on important issues while protecting their health and the health of their families.
